(I don't know if roleplay samples are needed for background characters, but he's canon, so, here it is.)
A dalek! It would not get away!
The Doctor jumped over a hedge, quickly sonicing the runaway dalek before it was seen by the crowd of ponies. He disabled its blasters and steering mechanism, quickly. "There ya go! Get away from those innocent peo-I mean ponies!" He giggled to himself, still unbelieving that he was in the middle of ponies! Can you believe that?!
He caught himself, returning to his strong gaze. He pushed the dalek away from the ponies, into a dark alley. It stared at him, just as strongly as he was. "Dalek. You will run. You will run farther than anyo-I mean, anypony, ever has. When you get to the rest of the Daleks, I want you to tell them who stopped you today."
"I want you to tell them who stopped you. I want you to retell what happened to you here today. How you almost succeeded in killing everyone here. Then, I want you to tell them who I am."
He stomped his hoof down, glaring right in the eyestalk of the dalek. "I am the Doctor! You are the Daleks! I will hutn you to the ends of the universe! If you ever attack this planet again, I will destroy you all!"
The eyestalk slowly moved up and down. A blue beam came from the sky, and the dalek evaporated into it. Just as quickly as it appeared, the dalek and the beam were gone.
The Doctor relaxed, sitting down. At least that was done with. He needed a companion. Someone to run with him. Someone to make this timey-wimey stuff seem fun again. He was getting old. Getting angry. He was losing his patience. Companions seemed to be the only thing keeping him together.
He stood up, and looked at that infamous blue police box in front of them. "What do ya say, sexy? Shall we find a new friend?" The doors swung open. A grin grew on his face, and he ran inside of it. "That's what I like to hear!"
The doors swung shut, and the TARDIS disappeared, with the famous groaning sound drifting in the breeze.
